TRU WolfPack beat nº 1 Thunderbirds

VANCOUVER, B.C. — It was a great Friday night (Oct. 13) for the WolfPack men’s soccer team. The team took down the number 1 nationally ranked, and previously undefeated, UBC Thunderbirds 1-0 in Vancouver.

“When you play the top team in the country you need everyone working together, fighting and battling and that’s what it was tonight – a complete battle,” said WolfPack head coach John Antulov.

The winning goal came only in the 76th minute of the match, when Michael Ojo scored his first goal in his WolfPack career, after entering the game as a substitute.

The Pack’ is back in action tonight when they face the UVic Vikes, in Victoria.
