Heffley Creek man charged, wanted for using 3D printer to make guns
KAMLOOPS — A Heffley Creek man has been charged with using a 3D printer to manufacture guns.
In a news release issued Wednesday (Oct. 11), the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) says police received a tip about the operation in December 2021.
On January 28, 2022, police arrested a man and raided his home in Heffley Creek. There, police found and seized:
- A tactical-style shotgun
- Ammunition and magazines
- A 3D printer used to manufacture guns
- Receivers printed by the 3D printer
- Body armour
