Tuesday (Oct. 10), the B.C. Prosecution Service approved six charges against 31-year-old Adrian Picketts-Yoxall:

• Firearms manufacturing (x2)
• Possession of a prohibited weapon
• Unsafe storage of a non-restricted firearm
• Possession of a firearm contrary to order
• Unauthorized possession of a non-restricted firearm

“The focused work done by CFSEU-BC’s Crime Guns Investigative and Intelligence Group (CGIIG) in collaboration with partner agencies is integral when developing strategies to remove illegal firearms, such as privately manufactured firearms, off the streets and out of the hands of individuals who may use them in acts of gun violence,” says CFSEU’s Sgt. Brenda Winpenny. “Illegal firearms, such as those made in someone’s home, are a major focus for police across Canada. CFSEU-BC is working closely with its partners across the province to investigate and disrupt the people and groups who may seek to illegally make and sell firearms.”

CFSEU says Picketts-Yoxall is now wanted in relation to those six charges. Anyone with information on Picketts-Yoxall’s whereabouts is asked to contact their local police detachment or Crime Stoppers.
