Kamloops RCMP searching for suspect who allegedly spat at a Valleyview business employee

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public’s help in finding a suspect in a recent assault in Valleyview.

In a news release issued Thursday (Aug. 17), police say they were called to a business on the 2100-block of the Trans Canada Highway at around 4:40 p.m. back on July 30 where a man reportedly spat at an employee.

“Since the report was received, police have secured an image of the suspect and are hopeful someone will recognize him to help further the investigation,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says.

The suspect is described as a white man, between the ages of 25 and 30 years old, standing 5’6” tall and weighing 130 lbs. He has blonde hair and was wearing a dark shirt and cut-off shorts and carrying a duffle bag.
