A&W customers purchasing Teen Burgers in support of those living with multiple sclerosis
KAMLOOPS — A&W is giving their customers a chance to buy a well-known burger on their menu for a good cause.
For the last 15 years, the franchise has raised more than $19 million to support Canadians with multiple sclerosis (MS). For every Teen Burger that a customer buys, two dollars will go toward helping Canadians living with the disease. There are 12 Canadians who are diagnosed with MS every day.
“MS is a disease that is happening in Canada and we want to get the research to find a cure,” manager of the Fortune Drive A&W Fran Boettger told CFJC Today. “By donating two dollars with every Teen Burger purchased, we hope we will help that research come close.”
