TNRD reduces the size of the Ross Moore Lake Evacuation Order

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District has partially rescinded the evacuation order around the Ross Moore Lake wildfire approximately 10 kilometres south of Kamloops.
As of 7 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 13), only two properties remain under an Evacuation Order.
Rather than an Order, an Evacuation Alert is in place for approximately 343 addressed properties in Electoral Areas “J” (Copper Desert Country) and “L” (Grasslands). At one point, more than 300 properties were under an Evacuation Order.
