TNRD issues evacuation order for 13 properties due to Bush Creek East wildfire

KAMLOOPS — Another evacuation order was issued by the Thompson Nicola Regional District (TNRD) due to a wildfire within the Adams Complex.

At 4 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 6), the TNRD issued evacuation orders for nearly 13 properties within the Lower North Thompson and Rivers and the Peaks electoral areas due to the nearby Bush Creek East wildfire.

The properties include:

• 380 Adams West FSR;
• 1908 Adams West FSR;
• 1912 Adams West FSR;
• 1920 Adams West FSR;
• 1924 Adams West FSR;
• 1932 Adams West FSR;
• 1936 Adams West FSR;
• 1940 Adams West FSR;
• 1948 Adams West FSR;
• 2380 Adams West FSR;
• 2408 Adams West FSR;
• 2416 Adams West FSR;
• 2424 Adams West FSR;

The TNRD adds nearly 73 properties within the Rivers and the Peaks electoral area remain on evacuation alert due to the Lower East Adams Lake wildfire.
