Tim Horton’s Camp Day is back and branches are receiving donations
KAMLOOPS — Tim Horton’s branches all over the country are raising money to help youth from underserved communities.
With “Tim’s Camps,” kids aged 11-to-16 attend 10-day camp sessions each year that become more challenging once campers move to the next level. The goal is to help youth develop skills that will impact them in the long run, such as independence, teamwork and leadership.
“They [children] really need all of those things, so every year we do that campaign so we can send them [to camp] and they can learn new things that eventually can help them in their lives,” said Janette Reyes, manager at the Columbia Street Tim Horton’s branch in Kamloops.
