Three people arrested shortly after Sahali car theft: Kamloops RCMP

KAMLOOPS — RCMP say a stolen car was quickly recovered in Aberdeen this week, thanks to good information provided by the vehicle’s owner.

In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says the incident happened early Monday morning (July 10).

Evelyn says Mounties were alerted that a Honda Civic stolen overnight from the 800-block of McGill Road was spotted in the 1300-block of Columbia Street West a short time later.

“Thanks to information provided by the victim, the investigation led officers to a commercial location on Hugh Allan Drive, where they arrested three people for theft, possession of stolen property, and fraud,” said Evelyn. “One of the three was released on scene; the other two were released with a court date and conditions.”
