KAMLOOPS — From a fun day at the B.C. Wildlife Park to a chill afternoon at a winery or even a day playing golf, Kamloops has a lot to offer.

With temperatures hitting up and the sun shining, people usually like to travel during their vacations. However, they might forget about some fun activities happening right in their backyard.

“People travel all over the world to come see our bike ranch, great wineries, Riverside Park. Just stay home and enjoy all the great things people all over the world are coming to enjoy,” said Glenn Grant, General Manager of the B.C. Wildlife Park.

According to Grant, locals represent 60 per cent of the visitors at the park, but he still hopes to see that number grow even more.
