Blazers 2023-24 schedule includes 6:00 p.m. Saturday starts

KAMLOOPS — Coming off their Memorial Cup-hosting season, the Kamloops Blazers have released their schedule for the 2023-24 Western Hockey League season.

The home schedule at Sandman Centre starts Friday, Sept. 22 with a game against Spokane.

All eight Saturday home games this season will start at 6:00 p.m. instead of 7:00 p.m.

The first visit from the newly relocated Wenatchee Wild will take place on Sunday, October 8, with a 4:00 p.m. start. The Wild were formerly the Winnipeg Ice.

The Blazers will have two 2:00 p.m. starts next season — Sunday, Dec. 3 and Monday, Feb. 19 (Family Day), both against Victoria.

Meantime, the Blazers’ four-game preseason schedule has also been released.

The team’s two home games during the preseason will be Friday, Sept. 8 versus Kelowna and Friday, Sept. 15 versus Victoria.
