Local athletes named to Team BC for upcoming North American Indigenous Games in Halifax

KAMLOOPS — Forty athletes and coaches from across our region have been named to Team BC for the 2023 North American Indigenous Games (NAIG), which take place in Halifax from July 15-to-23.

NAIG is a multi-sport event, which will see more than 750 Indigenous nations come together for the competition. Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc has partnered with the City of Kamloops in an effort to bring the games to the city in 2027.

Here is a full list of athletes from our area who will compete at the games in Halifax:
