Tobiano residents under precautionary boil water advisory

KAMLOOPS — Tobiano residents are under a precautionary boil water advisory due to an electrical malfunction.

In an email to residents, Corix Utilities says the malfunction happened over the weekend and affected the company’s ability to replenish the Tobiano water system.

While the malfunction has been corrected, the water system is low and will take a few days to return to normal. That means inconsistent water pressure for residents, as well as potential temporary loss of water.

Residents are asked to use water for only essential purposes.
