Sun Peaks CAO announces resignation

KAMLOOPS — The resort municipality of Sun Peaks has announced the departure of its Chief Administrative Officer.

Shane Bourke held the role for nearly two years. He’ll wrap up his tenure over the summer. Bourke told the municipal council he received an attractive offer from a larger city.

“We are very pleased with Shane’s performance and the amazing accomplishments of the past two years,” said Mayor Al Raine. “We recognize the excellent work that Shane and his team have carried out.”

A recruitment committee has been established and the search for the next CAO will begin immediately.
