Kamloops man arrested, charged in break-in attempt on the North Shore

KAMLOOPS — A 25-year-old Kamloops man is facing charges including mischief, breach of probation and possession of break-in instruments on the North Shore over the weekend.

In a news release issued Thursday (May 25), RCMP say officers attended to a business at the 100-block of Oak Road Sunday (May 21) at around 8:35 a.m. where a security camera captured video of a person who appeared to be attempting to break-in.

RCMP say they found the man and arrested him nearby. He was also wanted on a warrant for failure to comply with an undertaking.

Police say the man was held in custody for a bail hearing.
