TNRD votes to join the BC Rural Health Network

KAMLOOPS — This week the Thompson Nicola Regional District Board of Directors voted to join the BC Rural Health Network.

According to their website, ‘The BC Rural Health Network (BCRHN) consists of healthcare advocacy organizations working in cooperation with healthcare policymakers. The purpose of the Network is to promote and support a health services system that improves and sustains the health and well-being of residents of rural communities across British Columbia.’

The TNRD Board approved a $50 annual fee to join the association. This decision came following a presentation about the group at a previous meeting.
