Memorial Cup organizers watching the rising river, but confident fan activities will stay dry

KAMLOOPS — There are only 10 days left before the Memorial Cup is set to kick off in the Tournament Capital. Preparations are unfolding as the days wind down.

Part of the tournament will see a variety of events at the Molson Hockey House, known as the fan zone which will take over the parking lot northwest of Sandman Centre.

“Nightly entertainment with hot stoves, bands and just a wealth of fun,” President of the Blazers Norm Daley told CFJC Today. “In addition, we’re gonna have watch parties for all the games of the Memorial Cup.”
