Woman killed in single vehicle rollover in Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — A 50-year-old woman died in Williams Lake Sunday (April 23) after a single vehicle rollover.
In a news release issued Thursday, Williams Lake RCMP say they responded to Frizzi Road near the train tracks and found a Pontiac Wave on its roof. BC Emergency Health Services was on scene attending to the woman.
Despite lifesaving efforts, police say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing, but police do not believe there to be any criminality involved.
The BC Coroners Service is also conducting a parallel investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
