Merritt Centennials make coaching change ahead of 51st season

MERRITT, B.C. — The Merritt Centennials and Head Coach/GM Curtis Toneff have parted ways following the 2022/23 season.

“On behalf of the Centennials, we would like to sincerely thank Curtis for his hard work and dedication over the past year and a half,” wrote the Centennials in a release. “We wish Curtis nothing but the best in his future endeavours.”

Toneff joined the team in replace of Dave Chyzowski half way through the 2021/22 season.

During his time with the Centennials, Toneff had a 14-64-8 record.

Further announcements is still to come ahead of the 51st consecutive season for the Merritt Centennials.
