Stretch of Lac Le Jeune road closed due to downed hydro lines, no estimated time for reopening.

KAMLOOPS — Lac Le Jeune Road has been closed in both directions due to downed hydro lines at Chuwhels Mountain Road. An assessment is currently in progress.
The closure is right outside of the Overlanders Ski club, on Lac Le Jeune road adjacent to the Coquihalla highway.
No detour is available at this time, blocking access past the hydro lines entirely.
BC Hydro crews are currently on the scene working to repair the downed lines, but there is no estimated time for when the road will reopen. The next update on the situation will be provided on Saturday, April 15 at 4:00 PM PDT.
