Small wildfire breaks out near Coldwater

MERRITT, B.C. – With the spring upon us and temperatures heating up, the wildfire season is beginning.
Officials report a wildfire broke out yesterday (March 28) at Lemoto Creek, near Coldwater 1. It is a 7.17 hectare blaze but is being classified as under control with crews on scene.
According to BC Wildfire Service, it was a human caused flame.
