Blazers unable to secure a win their final home game of the regular season, lose to Cougars

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers were unable to secure their final home win of the regular season on Friday (Mar.24) losing to the Prince George Cougars 7-2 at the Sandman Centre.

Early in the first it was the Blazers who struck first at 1:43 thanks to Connor Levis. Scoring his 27th of the season.

However, the Cougars were the ones buzzing throughout this game. Scoring six unanswered goals between all three periods, including Caden Brown’s 18th of the season which would count as the game winner.

Caedan Bankier would score his 37th for Kamloops while Arjun Bawa would score his 5th for Prince George to put themselves 36-24-6-1 on the year.
