City of Kamloops promotes David Hallinan to corporate services director
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops has a new senior manager.
In a news release issued Wednesday (March 22), the City of Kamloops says David Hallinan will begin his new role as Corporate Services Director on April 3. Hallinan joined the City of Kamloops in 2016, starting as the Budget and Reporting Manager before transitioning to Financial Planning and Procurement Manager in 2018.
“I am really proud to work and live in the City of Kamloops,” Hallinan says. “I feel very fortunate to work for a first-class organization and with an incredible group of professionals who proudly care for our city each day. I am looking forward to working with the senior leadership team and City Council.”
Hallinan’s role includes providing leadership and coordination of five divisions within city operations: information technology, legislative services, financial services, planning and procurement, and enterprise risk management.
