Vehicle incident closes Highway 1 in Sicamous

UPDATE (9:10 a.m.): Highway 1 in Sicamous reopened.

EARLIER: SICAMOUS, B.C. — Drivers travelling through the Shuswap may be delayed on their morning commute.

DriveBC reported at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday (March 7) that Highway 1 in Sicamous is closed in both directions due to a vehicle incident at Finlayson Street.

A detour is available via Highway 97A. Another update is due at 8:30 a.m.
