Kamloops man arrested in possession of stolen truck

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is facing one count of possession of stolen property following an arrest by the Kamloops RCMP Crime Reduction Unit.

On Tuesday Feb. 14, 2023, police officers located a green Dodge pickup truck reported as stolen from Pinantan on Feb. 9. A suspect was arrested nearby on the 900-block of Jasper Avenue.

“The suspect was held in custody and charge recommendation approval was received the next day,” said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. “He was held for a bail hearing and remanded in custody.”

Mark Aaron Schulz, 35, of Kamloops is scheduled for court on Feb. 28.
