Hundreds of people in attendance at Mountain Bike Mecca Exhibit

KAMLOOPS — Over 300 people were in attendance at the Mountain Bike Mecca exhibit Friday night (Feb.24) to witness a brief talk by a local professional mountain biker.

Brett Tippie spoke to the public at the debut, sharing the history behind mountain biking in Kamloops. The professional athlete has spent well over 29 years as a mountain biker and solidified himself as one of the best ever when he was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 2010.

The Mountain Bike Mecca will be open to the public until June 10 at the Kamloops Museum and Archives.
