VIDEO: Braving the icy South Thompson for Special Olympics B.C.

KAMLOOPS — A group of local residents and officials took the plunge in Pioneer Park for Special Olympics B.C. Wednesday (Feb. 22).

The participants braved the icy South Thompson River waters as part of the annual Polar Plunge event.

Among the chilly few were Kamloops RCMP Supt. Jeff Pelley and Kamloops Fire Rescue Chief Ken Uzeloc.
