THE NEWEST TECHNOLOGICAL GAME-CHANGER is called ChatGPT. According to experts, it may soon threaten Google as a search engine.

The website Interesting Engineering explains that it’s the latest move on the artificial intelligence (AI) front.

The potential is tremendous. Answering questions was never so easy. I’m not a tech-savvy person, but according to James Coop, an acknowledged metaverse expert, this technology is going to lead to a seismic shift in how we communicate. He says the scope of projects we’ll be able to undertake will be infinite. It has great applications for education, where you’ll be able to take a course on, say, the equatorial rainforest and it will be like you are right there.

A judge in the U.S. recently used ChatGPT to assist him in getting some background information before making his decision on a case. ChatGPT is set up in a conversational style, and, unlike Google, you can ask follow-up questions and get real answers — not just be taken to an infinite list of websites which you then have to search through in the hope you eventually find something useful.
