Kamloops Storm convert touchdown in big win over Osoyoos
OSOYOOS — The Kamloops Storm hit the road Friday (Feb 10) night and didn’t forget to pack their offense as they put a seven spot on the Osoyoos Coyotes.
The Storm struck first thanks to a powerplay marker from Harrison Ewert less than five minutes into the contest. Special teams would continue to play a factor in the opening 20 minutes with Joe Davidson repsonding for the Coyotes on the powerplay before Kamloops’ Owen Aura netted his 5th of the season also with the extra-man. Ashton Taylor with score his first of the season to complete the first period onslaught with the Storm leading 3-1.
The middle stanza saw the Coyotes claw back into the contest with the second on the night from Davidson and the 32nd of the year for Coletyn Boyarski. Evan Douglas would score for Kamloops, Storm leading 4-3 after 40.
The third period was the Ryan Larsen show. Larsen would complete a natural hat-trick in the period to lead his team to victory 7-3.
