TRU Wolfpack teams fall to U-Vic on basketball court

KAMLOOPS — The University of Victoria men’s basketball squad swept a weekend series in Kamloops. The Vikes dumped the Thompson Rivers University Wolfpack 83 – 74 Saturday night following their 96 – 59 win Friday.

The 14 and 2 Vikes have won 10 in a row. TRU fell to 5 and 11 with the losses.

The news wasn’t any better for the TRU women’s team. They were beaten 64 – 48 by U-Vic. That followed Friday’s 71 – 45 defeat.

Both the mens and womens team are headed north to Prince George next weekend for games against UNBC.
