UPDATE: Snowfall warning for Coquihalla lifted

KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: Environment Canada has lifted the snowfall warning.
EARLIER: A snowfall warning is in effect for the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt Tuesday (Jan. 24).
In an online alert, Environment Canada says 24 centimetres of heavy snow fell on the stretch of Highway 5 overnight and around 10 to 15 more centimetres is due before snow eases later Tuesday.
The weather agency warns that visibility may be suddenly reduced in heavy snow, and it may be difficult to navigate through highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots.
