Travel east of Revelstoke along Highway 1 to be impacted by avalanche clean up Sunday

KAMLOOPS — Motorists travelling along Highway 1 east of Revelstoke, could be slowed by planned road work Sunday.
DriveBC is advising drivers of work to remove some avalanche deposits along the Trans-Canada. No closures are expected, however drivers should expect minor delays.
The work will impact an eight kilometre stretch of the highway between the eastern boundary of Mount Revelstoke National Park and Illecillewaet brake check. Clean up work will begin at 6 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m.
Traffic control personnel will be at the site.
