Gibbon’s family says his disappearance is out of character and highly concerning.

“Since [his disappearance], Jakob has also failed to attend work,” said Evelyn. “In addition to the photo released of Jakob on Dec. 30, we’re also sharing a stock image of a 2012 Dodge Avenger in hopes that someone will spot his vehicle and contact police as soon as possible.”

“If anyone does have information – maybe you’re a neighbour who saw him leave that morning, maybe you’re a friend or co-worker who exchanged texts with him recently — it’s so important that you share that information with police, even if you’ve already told his family or friends about it, to ensure it gets to investigators,” said Evelyn.
