RCMP ask for tips after stolen Kamloops pickup truck found stripped of parts in Logan Lake
LOGAN LAKE, B.C. — RCMP are looking for the public’s help after a vehicle stolen out of Kamloops was recovered in Logan Lake.
In a news release, RCMP say an officer was patrolling in Logan Lake last Saturday (Dec. 31) when they came upon a pickup truck in a Chartrand Ave. apartment complex parking lot. The officer noticed the license plate had been changed to make it seem that it had different lettering.
Further investigation led police to discover both the truck and license plate had been stolen separately. The truck, a 2007 GMC, was reported stolen out of Kamloops on Christmas Day. When the officer found it, the truck had been stripped of all aftermarket parts and accessories.
RCMP are asking the public to contact them if they saw the truck between Christmas Day when it was stolen and New Year’s Eve when it was recovered in Logan Lake.
