KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed is celebrating the holidays with its annual Christmas dinner aiding those less fortunate.

On Friday (December 23), Kamloops Mustard Seed will serve dinner to the city’s less fortunate and they’ll also give gifts allowing everyone to experience the spirit of Christmas.

“This is the time and the season where we get to show love, we’ve been collecting donations from all over Kamloops during our 12 days of giving campaign so we’re going to be handing out presents to the less fortunate of this community,” says Nyasha Manyanye of the Kamloops Mustard Seed.

The holidays can certainly be lonely for some – and tomorrow is an opportunity to share a meal and have a laugh with others in the community.

Although there will be an abundance of food to go around for all, the Mustard Seed says they are short on volunteers to serve the meal.

“So the volunteers will be coming here to help with dinner preparation and serving, cleaning the dishes, and distributing the Christmas presents,” Manyanye adds.

The annual Christmas dinner will be held at the Mustard Seed’s location starting at 5:00 p.m. in the dining area.
