Stankoven, Bankier both named to Canadian World Junior Team

HALIFAX — The Canadian team in the upcoming World Junior Hockey Tournament will once again include two Kamloops Blazers.

Team Canada revealed its final roster for the tournament Monday (Dec. 12). It includes Blazers forwards Logan Stankoven and Caedan Bankier.

Stankoven’s inclusion was not a surprise, especially considering his starring role on the team that won gold at the 2022 tournament in Edmonton.

Bankier was less of a lock to make the team, but impressed coaches with a strong weekend training camp.
