KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect following a report of a stolen vehicle that was linked to an erratic driver and indecent act.

In a news release issued Thursday (Dec. 8) morning, RCMP say they received a report of a black truck stolen from the back alley of the 700-block of Battle Street in downtown Kamloops sometime after 9:00 p.m. Friday (Dec. 2).

Shortly after receiving the report Saturday (Dec. 3) at around 4:25 p.m., police were called to a suspicious vehicle refuelling on the 200-block of Tranquille Road on the North Shore, where the driver appeared intoxicated and allegedly exposed himself. Police say the truck matched the description and license plate of the one reported stolen.

Nearly an hour later, police say the same truck failed to stop for a roadblock on Ord Road, then was later seen driving through a red light on Notre Dame Drive.
