Stankoven’s nine points earn him WHL Player of the Week honours

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers’ captain is the latest Western Hockey League’s (WHL) Player of the Week.
In a news release issued Monday (Dec. 5), the WHL says Kamloops local Logan Stankoven earned the honours for the week ending Dec. 4 after scoring nine points (two goals and seven assists) over three games. Stankoven also surpassed 200 career WHL points.
The Blazers are taking a ferry to Vancouver Island to take on the Victoria Royals Tuesday (Dec. 6) night.
