Heavy snow expected for South Thompson, parts of B.C. Saturday

KAMLOOPS — Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the South Thompson region highlighting that heavy snow is expected.

A period of heavy snow and blowing snow is set to hit the area including most of Interior B.C. Saturday evening (November 26).

Environment Canada is forecasting five to 10 centimentres of snow across many parts of B.C. throughout the day.

Additionally, a strong northwest wind associated with the heavy snow will cause poor visibility for about 2 or 3 hours.
