KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a robbery in downtown Kamloops.

In a news release issued Wednesday (Nov. 23) morning, RCMP say they attended a business on Seymour Street at around 10 p.m. on Nov. 10 after a man produced a knife, then fled westbound on foot with cash and cigarettes.

“Despite extensive police patrols, the suspect was not located,” RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says. “Since the initial response, officers have obtained surveillance footage and are distributing an image of the suspect in hopes of furthering the investigation.”

The suspect is described as a 5’5” man with a medium build and a “gruff” voice, wearing a full red face mask, black hoodie, black pants, and gloves with fluorescent yellow on them.
