Clearwater’s Alli Borrow earns Canada West women’s hockey Player of the Week honours

CALGARY — Four points in two games against the University of Manitoba Bisons has earned Clearwater, BC’s Alli Borrow Canada West Player of the Week honours.

The fifth-year forward for the University of Calgary Dinos had a hat trick in Friday’s 4-0 win over the Bisons. She notched one assist with two shots on Saturday, in a 5-4 overtime win over Manitoba.

Borrow played three seasons with the University of Lethbridge, before transferring to the U of C before last season.

This year, Borrow has five goals and three assists in 12 games in the 2022-23 campaign.
