Interior Health COVID-19 outbreak list up to six facilities, including Cariboo Memorial Hospital

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — After several weeks of quiet, the Interior Health COVID-19 outbreak list is growing once again.

The IH website shows six healthcare facilities with active COVID-19 outbreaks. Four are acute care hospitals with outbreaks on specific wards, while the remaining two are long-term care facilities.

The most recent facility to register an outbreak is Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, where an outbreak was declared on the acute care unit last Thursday (Nov. 10).

Facilities remain on the IH list until their outbreaks are officially declared over.
