INVERMERE — There is little information about the specifics, but the Kamloops Storm Twitter account states an ammonia alarm went off during their game Friday.

The game had to be stopped immediately and the tweet says one minute remained in regulation as players and fans heard the alarm going off.

Everyone is reportedly safe and managed to get out of the building.

The game is expected to be continued on Sunday as the Storm plays in Creston Saturday night. The arena will be inspected in the meantime to ensure the safety of everyone in the building for Sunday.
