KAMLOOPS — As we await a severe weather system expected to move in Thursday (Nov. 3), Environment Canada has issued snowfall warnings for a large portion of the B.C. Interior.
Snowfall with poor visibility is expected to begin around the noon hour Thursday, lasting through to Friday morning.
The warning has been put in place for the Highway 97 corridor from Pine Pass to Clinton, as well as the Coquihalla Highway from Hope to Merritt.
The atmospheric river system is expected to bring snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres on those higher elevation routes.
