KAMLOOPS — Kamloops council will have a drastically new look for the next term.
With two incumbent councillors, Kathy Sinclair and Denis Walsh, deciding not to seek re-election, and three others vying for the mayor’s chair, it was only possible that a maximum of three candidates could return to the eight-member council.
After the votes were tallied Saturday (Oct. 15), the three incumbents running for re-election — Dale Bass, Mike O’Reilly and Bill Sarai — were returned.
Joining them are Katie Neustaeter, Kelly Hall, Margot Middleton, Stephen Karpuk and Nancy Bepple.
