RCMP arrest Kamloops man with a knife on school property

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is facing charges of mischief and possession of a knife for a dangerous purpose after police were called to a school for a report of a man refusing to leave the property.
In a news release issued Wednesday (Oct. 5) evening, Kamloops RCMP say they attended a school of McGill Road on Sept. 23 at around 8:25 a.m. where they recognized a man on release conditions which included for him not to be at a school or playground.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn says police arrested 35-year-old Samuel Robert Theodore Moller and found a knife while doing so. Police state he was held for a bail hearing, and now has a future court date.
