PENTICTON, B.C. — A preliminary inquiry is underway in Penticton for a man accused in the murders of two Kamloops brothers.

Wade William Cudmore is facing first degree murder charges in connection with the deaths of Erick and Carlo Fryer.

The brothers were found dead in a remote area near Naramata in May, 2021. At the time, RCMP said the homicides were related to the drug trade and organized crime.

A preliminary inquiry determines whether the prosecution’s case has enough evidence to take the accused to trial.
