Terry Fox’s legacy is well alive in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — The 42nd annual Terry Fox Run brought out about 200 people to Riverside Park on Sunday (Sept. 18), walking and running to raise money for cancer research.
His face and name are known to all Canadians and his story still inspires people from all walks of life.
“Terry Fox, of course, has such an incredible legacy all across Canada. I remember as a child recognizing the hard work that he did and the important information that he brought to communities about cancer and cancer research,” said one attendee.
“We always remember, he has a legacy, he is our Canadian hero,” said Jo Berry during the run warmup.
