Woman robbed of her scooter

RCMP are investigating after a woman was reportedly robbed of her scooter in Brocklehurst at around 1:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Police say the woman reported riding her electric scooter near Holt Street and Parkcrest Avenue when a man on a red mountain bike approached her, demanded the scooter, assaulted her and took it by force.

The suspect was described as 5’6” man with a thin build and wearing a red baseball cap, black track pants and a black sports jacket.

Anyone with information related to the investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.

Computer towers stolen in downtown break-in

RCMP responded to the 100-block of Victoria Street early Monday morning after a business’ alarm went off.

Police say the business had been broken into from an entrance in the alleyway between First Avenue and Second Avenue and had several computer towers stolen.

Anyone who witnessed the break-in or has security footage related to it is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP.
