Weekend for Kamloops RCMP includes bear spray, scooter robbery and downtown break-in
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP responded to approximately 409 public complaints from midnight Friday (Sept. 9) to 9:00 a.m. Monday (Sept. 12). Below are some incidents police attended.
Bear spray assault on the North Shore
RCMP say they attended the 200-block of Fairview Avenue shortly after midnight Sunday in response to an assault.
According to RCMP, the man being treated by paramedics said he had been riding his bike along the river trail that intersects with Schubert Drive when a man in a hate bear sprayed him.
