KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a man who allegedly crashed a stolen car and ran away late Sunday (Sept. 11) night.
According to police, a suspect broke into a home on the 100-block of St. Paul Street on Friday (Sept. 9) afternoon and stole a red Hyundai Accent, along with a laptop, keys and multiple phones.
Two days later, the Hyundai was located late Sunday night after police were called to a rollover on the Trans Canada Highway near the Lafarge Road off ramp. The car was abandoned.
Cpl. Crystal Evelyn with the Kamloops RCMP says the suspect is a six-foot tall man wearing a tank top and jeans that may have injuries to his face. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
