2018 runner-up among three vying for Chase mayor’s seat

CHASE, B.C. — A man who came 11 votes from the Chase mayor’s chair in 2018 is running for the position again.

David Lepsoe finished a close second behind Rod Crowe in 2018. Candidates Beverley Iglesias, Harry Danyluk and Rick Berrigan also gained significant support. Crowe is not running for re-election this fall.

Joining Lepsoe on the ballot are sitting councillor Steve Scott and Allan Fenton.

Fred Torbohm is the only one of four incumbent councillors to seek re-election.

The B.C. municipal elections will take place Oct. 15, 2022.
